Sit back, unwind and enjoy the best traditional Irish food in Meath on the gatway out of Dublin. We offer home-cooked bar snacks, lunches and evening meals, seven days a week. Served in the cafe bar, lounge or our outdoor beer garden, the broad menu ranges from a bowl of home-made soup through to a juicy fillet steak cooked to your liking.
Our popular Sunday lunches include traditional roast meats with all the trimmings, and we also cater for special dietary needs and our focus is on having lovley good food for your children. Our carvery restaurant is now available for exclusive private lunch hire for large groups.
With prices ranging from €6 to €25 we have something for everybody. Breakfast served daily from 10am to Noon , Monday – Sunday. Carvery served daily from 12 noon -3pm Monday – Friday and until 5pm Sundays. Bar Menu available daily from 3pm till 9pm Monday – Saturday and 8pm on Sundays.

The Grasshopper Inn bar provides the perfect place to relax and unwind with a fine meal and bottle of wine.
Our range of fine beers always includes at least one regularly changing guest beer and is complimented by a choice of wines available by the glass or bottle. We also stock a good choice of bottled beers as well as a large selection of lagers, ciders, spirits and liqueurs. Gins are our speciality with an innovate 21 Gin menu to entice you in!
There are many interesting things to see and do in the local area, and The Grasshopper Inn is the home of visitors to the Fairyhouse Races. We have an enthusiastic golf society which you are encouraged to join
